Elevator installation process

Prepare safety factors when the elevator is installed:
1. The elevator shaft door must be covered tightly and securely during construction.
2. The elevator shaft must be arranged with enough light during construction.
3. The operations during construction must be performed in accordance with technical standards such as electric welding, lifting heavy objects (do not turn off the light as it can cause danger to others as well as yourself and the equipment).
4. Absolutely must wear safety equipment, protective clothing, safety ropes during work.
5. Safety cables must be dropped along the elevator shaft and used throughout the construction process.
6. Absolutely comply with safety regulations at the work site.
7. During construction, team leaders must check and strictly implement labor safety requirements.
Before installing the elevator, it is necessary to CHECK some issues as follows:
Elevator pit size.
Check obstacles in the elevator pit, machine room.
Other issues such as: machine pulling holes, holes for signal devices at the floor doors, floor door size, hoist hook, well bottom size, waterproofing, machine room, power source.
ELEVATOR INSTALLATION PROCESS
The elevator installation process;
1. Preparation: tools and equipment in the correct construction location (hoist, welding machine, drill and other auxiliary tools).
– Prepare construction power sources.
– Power source location.
– Power source capacity.
Connect the welding machine and other tools.
Light the elevator pit.
Drop the safety cable along the elevator pit.
Close the operating system.
Pull the equipment up to the machine room.
2. Move the engine and control cabinet to the machine room: Use a hoist to move the engine, control cabinet, and cable to the machine room
3. Determine the location and install the standard frame
Install the top standard frame: The top standard frame will be placed on the highest floor (below the machine room floor).
Install the bottom standard frame: The bottom standard frame will be installed in the elevator pit.
4. Place the traction machine and control cabinet in position: Position the traction machine and control cabinet according to the construction drawing.
5. Install the first two guide rails
Use scaffolding to position the bracket.

6. Install the cabin frame and counterweight frame
Install the counterweight frame.
Install the cabin frame: Install the cabin floor frame (with safety brake); Vertical frame bar; Tie ladder; Upper frame; Protect the cabin floor.
7. Install the safety brake system and speed control system: Install the safety brake system under the cabin frame, the overspeed control system and test the system’s operation.

8. Install the load cable: The counterweight frame is located on the bottom floor, the car frame is located on the top floor and will be placed in a fixed position by the hoist until the load cable installation is completed.
9. Install the guide rails
Assemble the guide rails in the elevator shaft area.
Use the cabin floor frame with the safety system installed to install the remaining guide rails.
The guide rails will be installed one by one by using an electric hoist to pull them into the correct position.
10. Install the floor doors
All the floor door equipment will be moved to the front of each floor door.
After installing the load cable, we use the car floor to install the floor doors.
Install each door and in order from the top down to the lowest floor door
11. Install the electrical system.
Install the power cord for the traction machine
Install the control cord in the machine room
Use the cabin frame to install the control cord in the elevator shaft and in order from top to bottom.
Install the signal devices at the floor door.
Install the dynamic cable in the elevator shaft.
12. Install the cabin wall, cabin door and control panel in the cabin.
The cabin floor is located at the lowest floor.
Clean thoroughly.
Install the car wall, car roof.
Install the cabin door and door motor system.
Install the control panel in the cabin.
Connect the wiring system.
13. Check and calibrate.
Clean from top to bottom.
Check and calibrate the technical parameters.
14. Test run the elevator.
Use measuring devices to check one last time before testing the elevator (if any problem is detected, even the smallest one, the elevator must not be allowed to run).
It is strictly forbidden to arbitrarily turn on the power to run the elevator.
15. Elevator inspection
Before handing over the project to the investor for use, the elevator will be inspected and granted an elevator license. The work will be carried out by the State Inspectorate of Labor Safety of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to ensure that the elevator is assembled in accordance with the elevator safety standards of the State of Vietnam.
16. Elevator handover: Clean, test run and re-align if necessary. Prepare completion documents to officially hand over to the customer to put the elevator into use.
